Post-Tension Design participates in many challenging projects. Not only slabs on grade for single family homes but many
large two and three story apartment projects, unusual custom homes,
structural decks and sub-grade slab foundations. Often it's
difficult to adequately portray the romance of a concrete slab without the
use of graphics so from time-to-time we'll present photos of some of the
more unusual and/or unique slab foundations we've had the pleasure to be involved
with.
Lauterbauch House:
A unique post-tensioned slab tied to
structural column pads in a confined site.
Talega Cart Barn:
A 16" thick, subterranean post-tensioned mat foundation
utilizing 0.6" dia. tendons.
Armstrong Ranch:
Post-tensioned mat foundations for single-family
homes using 0.5" dia. tendons.
Watermark Apts:
Mat slabs for 4-Sty. apartments using 0.5" dia. tendons.
